1. Who we are

2. What this website is for
The website describes our medical services and lets you contact us, check your travel insurance, request a telemedicine consultation, apply for a job, and rate your visit. It does not sell anything online.
3. Medical information
Information on this website is general. It is not a diagnosis and does not replace seeing a doctor.
In an emergency, call 112 or 166, or call us on +30 28310 71 300. A doctor is on duty 24 hours a day.
4. Forms and requests
- Sending a form does not book an appointment or start a doctor–patient relationship. We reply by email or telephone.
- The insurance check is a guide. Whether your treatment is covered, and how, is decided by your insurer.
- A telemedicine consultation lasts about 15 minutes and costs €25. It takes place by video through the WeSeeDo service.
- If you send a form on behalf of a child or another person, you confirm that you are allowed to do so.
5. What you send us
Only send information and files you are entitled to share. We use them solely to handle your request, as described in our Privacy & Cookie Policy. You keep all rights in them; sending them gives us no right to publish or reuse them.
6. Our content
The text, photographs, logos and design of this website belong to Rethymno Medical Assistance or are used with permission. Insurers' and partners' names and logos belong to their owners. You may share links to our pages. Copying our content for commercial use needs our written permission.
7. Other websites
We link to other websites, such as insurers and partner clinics, and show content from Google (reviews, maps and videos). We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
8. Liability
We work to keep the website accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee that it is always error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from using the website. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the end of this page shows the latest version.
10. Law and courts
These terms are governed by Greek law. Disputes go to the courts of Rethymno, without affecting your mandatory rights as a consumer.

Health information
Symptoms, photos and insurance documents can be health data, which the law protects specially. We use them only to provide or arrange your care (GDPR art. 9(2)(h)), and only our medical and administrative staff can see them. Our doctors are bound by medical confidentiality.
Who receives your data
- Cloudflare hosts the website, stores form submissions and files in the European Union, and sends us an email alert for each form.
- Our email hosting provider in Greece holds those alerts in our mailboxes.
- WeSeeDo provides the video connection for telemedicine.
- Your insurer, only when you ask us to arrange direct billing with them.
- Google, Meta, Tidio and Trustindex, only if you accept cookies (see Cookies).
- Public authorities, only where the law requires it.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decisions or profiling.
Transfers outside the European Union
Google, Meta and Cloudflare are based in the United States. Transfers to them rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions, and the files sent with them, for as long as they are needed to provide your care, to handle any related insurance claim, and to meet our legal obligations — including the record-keeping rules for medical files under Greek law. Job applications are kept for up to one year. You can ask us to delete your data sooner, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect what happened before. Write to info@rma.gr. We answer within one month and may ask you to confirm your identity.

We set only one item without asking: your cookie choice, stored in your browser. Everything else loads only after you click Accept. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

The fonts are served from rma.gr. The map on the contact page loads only after you accept cookies or click "Show map". YouTube videos play in privacy-enhanced mode and load only when you click play.
Security
The website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Form data and files are stored in the European Union and can be reached only by named staff after signing in. Uploaded files are never sent by email.

We may update this policy. The date below shows the latest version.
